Meet your host
Hi, I’m Suiko Betsy McCall.
I’m a painter. And I’ve gone years without painting.
Blocked every which way. No ideas. No time. No space. No confidence.
This happened after a Fine Art degree from Yale. After an MFA. After solo shows.
Credentials didn't protect me from creative paralysis.
Over time, I found my way back.
From imposter-riddled stuckness to steady art-making that feels joyful and connected to something larger than me.
The relief of that is hard to describe.
Hosting Free Your Inner Artist is one of my favorite ways to watch people around the world come alive again.
