Materials needed for the workshop:
Your favorite art supplies. Maria recommends simple tempera paint, 12 colors in an ice cube tray, a brush, paper and water. But anything will do! Craypas, colored pencils, brush markers, a pen and paper.

About the speaker
Maria Freebairn-Smith is passionate about unleashing authentic expression in the world, for herself and others using the tool of intuitive painting. She was part of the first teacher training offered by Michele Cassou and Stewart Cubley of The Painting Experience, and has been teaching this modality for over 30 years to children and adults. She was part of a group of painters that co-founded The Center for Creative Exploration (CCE) with Barbara Kaufman, 25 years ago in San Francisco. Presently, she leads the Center’s onsite intuitive painting studio, online programs and retreats as a teacher and Outreach Director, working side by side, with the Executive Director, Claudia Erzinger and a collective of dedicated intuitive painters.
