About the speaker
Megan Saunders’ love for drawing began as a teenager growing up in Vermont, where she hiked into the forest daily to meditate and sketch. Meg’s formative years led her to study scientific illustration and earn degrees from Evergreen State College and the University of Toronto. She has had her work published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and exhibited across the country. Meg has been a Soto Zen practitioner for over 20 years and is a certified meditation teacher with Suffering & Delight, a program that helps those with chronic pain and illness. She is passionate about helping people develop their technical skills while also exploring their unique artistic voice as an art mentor.
