2012

Artmonks-in-Residence

We’re delighted to announce our 2012 Artmonks-in-Residence (left to right below): Neva Cockrell,

Andi Hemmenway, Ryan Hazelbaker,

Anaya Cullen, Raphael Sacks.These five American artists will join us for a 90-day art-monastic intensive laboratory in which we’ll co-create a multidisciplinary, collaborative theater piece and tour it around Italy.  Read about the artists on our website.

Spring Visiting Artists

Art Monastery Italia is hosting two Visiting Artists this spring for events in Labro.

 

Joel Frederiksen gave a beautiful concert in the church of the monastery on April 14. Photos and personal experience of the concert on our blog.  Joel’s new CD, available for pre-release on Amazon.com: Requiem for a Pink Moon.
Cirque en Dèroute is joining us for a performance at the Colle di Costa on May 5!  We can’t wait to host these amazing acrobats. Read more about Cirque en Dèroute on our blog.
