Nourishment of Death Moon

New Moon   October 11, 2026

‍

As if we could scrape the color off the iris and still see.

—Maggie Nelson

‍

Close your eyes, beloved

see the wheel of repair illustrate the void—

around the voluminous axle, heel-grooved earth

air in red tassels of Guatemalan corn.

‍

This decay is burning prayer

how I long to recognize tathagatagharba

‍mourning autumn’s blue beginning.
