Full Moon May 1, 2026
After the birthday party,
jasmine
In the canyon at dusk,
eucalyptus limbs in the sky canopy
making sweet aching squeaks
as air of the planet
ululates their woody sinews
On the morning bicycle commute,
palimpsest of dukkha
fresh glory & litter of bifurcate avenues
This moon,
I promise to wake in time,
to catch my breath
scent the scents
glisten the listens
whisper the holy
homage the grim
phase-shift the timeline
Velella velellas,
blue plankton nibblers
high sea colonial non-vegetarians
wind-fated to dry into cellophane
on the burning man birth beach
you are beyond measure
Where the rudder,
where the compass,
where is grandmother
now kindly pointing
After the party,
a porosity without sense
welcome relief of psychopomp
After you,
me
After you,
us
Fated, entwined,
random, intended,
blessed
as it has always actually been.
