Body exposed in the golden wind..‍

Often at the ending
or what feels like an ending
——— I sway in the breeze of profound nostalgia
longing for San Francisco
while living in San Francisco

At such times
& they are often nowadays
I am loathe to confess
though I know
——— or think or think or think I do
that that confession is all
that might help
& it mostly does

Like right now
as I catch on
to the shortening daylight
——— the ten by ten thousand changes
I feel a grief broadly ridiculous
& for that reason among many
it is my precious moon.
