About the Artists

Neva Cockrell, producer

Neva is a dancer, choreographer and director. Neva currently tours internationally with Pilobolus, and self-produces work in Dubai and Vermont, creating new dance-theater performances, and teaching Catalyst Training.

Raphael Sacks, performer

Raphael has sung, danced, made theater and taught yoga in New York, Colorado, England, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Berlin, Stockholm, Dubai. Since childhood, he’s followed a clear calling to play in the dirt, imagine fantastical worlds, and question social norms. This winter, his solo show “What the Jellyfish Knows” will premiere in Dubai.

Shawn Shafner, director

Shawn is an artist, educator and activist. Creator of The People’s Own Organic Power Project (www.thePOOPproject.org), he has catalyzed conversation about sustainable sanitation from NYC’s largest wastewater treatment plant to the United Nations. Shawn was a 2014-15 LABA Fellow, 2014-15 iLAND/LMCC resident, 2017 Global Social Impact House fellow through UPenn’s Center for Social Impact Strategy, 2017 summer resident to the Art Monastery Project, and a member of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Foundation’s ROI Community. Shawn is also a teaching artist, curriculum developer, and consultant for cultivating creativity, mindfulness and joy.

 

Kaitlin June performer

Kaitlin is a voice-doula and a lover of sun, soil, and song. She has been receiving music her whole life from whatever land she stands on and loves to offer it back. Kaitlin is passionate about the role of Expressive Arts in the transformation of our world and helping to cultivate each individual’s unique voice in creating the new paradigm.
